The State of Florida's Department of Children and Families has licensed Family Resources, Inc. as a Child Caring Agency; (1207-44) through December 15, 2008.
The State of Florida's Department of Children and Families has licensed Family Resources' Transitional Living Program as a Child Caring Agency (1207-45) through December 15, 2008.
The State of Florida's Department of Children and Families has licensed our SafePlace2B in St. Petersburg as a Child Caring Agency (1207-46) through December 15, 2008.
The State of Florida's Department of Children and Families has licensed our SafePlace2B in Clearwater as a Child Caring Agency (1207-47) through December 15, 2008.

Florida's Department of Juvenile Justice recognized our Manatee CINS/FINS programs for Addeptable Status as a provider in August, 2007.
Florida's Department of Juvenile Justice recognized our Pinellas CINS/FINS programs for Commendable Performance as a provider in August, 2007.
Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County certified our OCIP¨, Family Counseling and Runaway and Youth Crisis Shelter the Agency Self-Study Efficacy Tool (ASSET) Certification in May 2009.

April, 2008 - Through the Florida Department of Education, Family Resources was given the Commissioner's Business Recognition Award.
March, 2008 - SunTrust Leadership Council presented Jane L. Harper with one of the "Salute to Women Awards"
In appreciation of Family Resources efforts, the National TeenScreen Program has recognized our status as an official TeenScreen Local Affiliate.
The National Network for Youth honored Shari McPeek at the Symposium 2008: A Blueprint for the Future, on Tuesday, held January 29, 2008 with the Youth Worker of the Year Award. This award is given annually to a youth worker from a National Network member organization in recognition of outstanding contributions to those they serve, regularly performing beyond expectations. As an employee of Family Resources for 20 years, Shari McPeek was recognized for her outstanding contributions to serving youth in Pinellas County, Florida.
December, 2007 - Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless presented Family Resources with the Most Humorous Basket Award for 2007 at the 10th Annual Harvest for the Homeless Basket Challenge.
November, 2007 - Family Resources was recognized as the Business Partner of the Year in the High School Category by The Pinellas Education Foundation and Pinellas County Schools' Pinellas Free Enterprise Hall of Honor and Business Partner of the Year Awards.
Mayor Patricia Gerard and Chief Operating Officer of Family Resources received a Special Recognition from the 2007 PACE Awards for her Outstanding Community Service in Pinellas County.
June, 2007 - Family Resources was a finalist in the 2007 Non Profit of the Year Awards (from The Tampa Bay Journal)
May, 2007 - Family Resources was a finalist in the 2007 St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Business of the Year Award – non profit division.
December 6-7, 2006 - In their 2006-07 monitoring report The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services in 2006 cited Family Resources’ contract log and inventory list as a “Best Practice” for all Children In Need of Services/Families In Need of Services (CINS/FINS) agencies to duplicate.
In November 2006, The Florida Network presented Family Resources’ President/CEO, Jane Harper with an award for her longtime
leadership in the organization.
At Craft Art 2006 festival, Family Resources’ Youth Arts Corps participants won a $500 merit award
In September, 2006, Family Resources' SafePlace2B in Manatee was recognized
as one of the best Basic Center Programs by the Administration for
Children and Families, Best Practices Publication.
In September, 2006, Family Resources' StreetSafe was recognized
as one of the best Street Outreach Programs by the Administration for
Children and Families, Best Practices Publication.
The American’s Promise – The Alliance for Youth’s 100 Best Communities for Young People competition
named St. Petersburg along with its collaborator, Family Resources, as a winner in 2005.
On April 22, 2005, President/CEO Jane Harper was awarded a Community Service
and Leadership Award from the Pinellas County Coalition of the Homeless at its
8th Biennial Community Appreciation Awards Banquet.
In April, 2005, the agency was awarded an Award of Distinction by the Florida
Public Relations Association for its new promotional video presentation.
Pinellas County Coalition for the Homeless presented an award for the
Support of Innovative Ideas for the 8th Annual Harvest for the Homeless Auction in 2005.
Mabel Stephens, a counselor located at the Juvenile Assessment Center,
was awarded the Outstanding Counselor of the Year from the Florida Network
of Youth and Family Services, Inc. on January 26, 2005.

The Florida Public Relations
Association Award of Distinction and Image Award
were given to Family Resources in July 1999. The
awards, for Printed Tools of Publications, 1-3 color
brochures, were for our Safe Place Brochure.
The Florida Public Relations
Association Award of Distinction, Judges Award and
Image Award were presented to Family Resources for
Public Relations Program, Institutional, in July
1998. The awards were for our Focus on Families in
Crisis program.
