Summary of Employee Benefits

As an integral part of its total compensation package, Family Resources offers the following benefits:

Health Insurance

Family Resources pays 80% of the employee premium for an HMO plan and 50% of dependent’s premium. Eligible after 3 months of full-time employment.

Dental Insurance

Family Resources pays 80% of the employee premium and 50% of the dependent premium. Eligible after 6 months of full-time employment. Orthodontic benefits are included after one year’s participation in the plan.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is provided for full-time, regular employees equal to one year’s base salary at no expense to the employee. Eligible after 6 months of full-time employment.

Long Term Disability Insurance

Provided to employees after one year of full-time service, this benefit provides 60% salary replacement to the employee who becomes temporarily or permanently disabled. The premium is paid by Family Resources.

Retirement Plan

An approved 403(b) plan, Family Resources’ Tax Sheltered Annuity Plan allows for retirement savings with pre-income tax dollars and income tax deferred on interest earned. Family Resources contributes 3% of base salary for regular full-time employees. Additional employee contributions may be elected via payroll deduction. Family Resources will match up to 3% of employee contributions. Investment choices include guaranteed and variable mutual funds. Employer contributions begin after 6 months of full-time employment. Employees become vested between 3-5 years of employment.

Flexible Spending Plan

Under this Section 125 IRS approved plan employees may pay up to $2,500 per year for unreimbursed medical/dental expenses, up to $5,000 per year for dependent care expenses and medical/dental premiums with pre-tax dollars. The employee saves on both Social Security and income taxes.

Paid Time Off

  • Vacation Leave – 13 days per year.
  • Sick Leave – 6 days per year, first year; then 12 days per year.
  • Holidays – 9 paid holidays.
  • Other – personal day and funeral leave.

Tuition Reimbursement Program

All employees who have completed six months service are eligible to apply for up to $450.00 per year to cover tuition expenses for job related college or university coursework.

Continuing Education

We encourage our employees to continue learning. All employees have the opportunity to attend a variety of internal and external training classes to help enhance their knowledge of clinical issues, management skills, computer technology and many more topics. Costs for approved continuing education is provided by Family Resources.

Licensure Supervision

Family Resources licensed staff members offer supervision hours for eligible master level professionals to obtain LMHC or LCSW status.
