Family Counseling

Individual, couples, parents and children can receive counseling services designed to improve relationships so that you are more confident and satisfied with your life.

Family Counselors are State licensed or license eligible to ensure that you and your family are receiving the highest quality of service. Counseling services are confidential and are provided in a welcoming office environment.

Services are available in three locations (St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Manatee).

For families in crisis, services are generally available within 24 - 72 hours as needed. The immediate goal of family crisis intervention is to address the issues that have precipitated the crisis and assess the likelihood of family violence.

The family counselor works with the family to identify possible resolutions to the problem and reduce the degree of stress between family members. Once this is accomplished, each family member is given an opportunity to discuss his/her problems with the counselor and to work on viable solutions.
