Family Resources and a group of community stakeholders, including our youth, came together to talk, listen and find meaningful resolutions to address and end youth homelessness, especially as it relates to our most vulnerable populations of LGBTQ+ youth.

Family Resources along with our community partners has set forth a plan to take valuable steps in supporting youth in our community who find themselves homeless.

Safe Connections

Safe Connections Resource Center is part of the strategic plan to provide homeless youth with a central point of access for needed services that are imperative to their safety and survival, including basic needs assessment, counseling and referrals.

Family Resources is currently raising funds to renovate an existing building in St. Petersburg as the future site for Safe Connections. If you would like to partner with us to make Safe Connections possible go to www.giveakidahome.org and make a donation.

Street Outreach staff made 1389 contacts with homeless youth to provide food, shelter, laundry and clothing. Thank you for your help.
